There was no identifying information of the patient and the nurse was not named. I was a student. The nurse whose name was mentioned was my instructor, not an employee of the hospital. There was no breach of confidentiality in this passage from my student nursing critical thinking journal. There isn't enough information to identify the patient. If there really is any breach of confidentiality anywhere in my site, please be specific - I will correct the situation. All I'd have to do is search the nurse to find out his place of employment and I could find out who this patient was. Not very difficult.
