A story we won’t forget
We met at Kinko’s in Provo when I moved to Utah. Kim was working there. I strolled right past her to say a surprised hello to Jamee Young, a missionary in my MTC (missionary training center) district. She was just as excited to catch up on some old times, when she said, “Meet Kim. She served with me on my mission.” A few weeks later, we (Kim and I) went out on a date to a mall in Orem, then on to the local college kid hang-out, Blenders (a cool smoothy joint, now known as Zuka Juice or Jamba Juice er somethin’ like that.). From that time on, Kim and I worked together, played together, laughed together and prayed together. That was May, 1996. We were married five months later in October. Although that seems such a short time, a lot went on. Dates at the Temple, trips to St. George, work, work, work. We just spent all the time we could together. Just after we married, Kim was pregnant with the first of what is now five children. We have truly been blessed beyond our expectations. How did we know it would work and we should be married? We prayed about it. We both got the answer from the Holy Ghost. You can get answers from our Heavenly Father. Click to learn more about temples, eternal marriage and how God answers prayers.
