You can subscribe to any of my RSS feeds by adding /feed after any of my addresses. For example, you see the following URL in the address bar:

https://nursemike.wordpress.com/tag/nursing-school/

just add the word “feed “after it to gain access to the actual feed. Bookmark it and you’re all set! It looks like this:

https://nursemike.wordpress.com/tag/nursing-school/feed

I have a few feeds already set up – just click on them.

Most blogs have a news feed. RSS and Atom are just 2 different formats. Each of them have different versions. My blog has a feed. Feeds make reading the information you want easier. You can collect specific feeds all into one place and read them all at once. Or you can read them a little at a time. It’s flexible and can be downloaded for off-line reading.
On my sidebar, there are some feeds from allnurses.com, Kim’s blog and the LDS Church. These feeds are automatically updated and included on my page. They have some familiar icons next to them. They look like this:

My blog has a feed at the bottom of the sidebar. Once you click on the newsfeeds in the web browsers, you can actually bookmark it and whenever there’s new posts, you’ll see a number next to it. That number means there are that many new posts waiting for you to read.
Now, this will be particularly useful if you have Safari, Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox. You can also download newsreaders or aggregators.
Try it out!
